I contacted the developers of GoogleMapsAPI and some of these changes (if not all?) are already in the CVS of the new version of the API - so if you use this guide... Note that this is done using version 2.3 of the API...

The map shows up now!
However, it shows a city in sweden now, not my object.
I didn't change the adress format so that might be it.
However, where can i find the right format?
Or is it because the GMapApi is now V2.4?(EDIT: tried with 2.3 no change, so that's not it)

Or am i missing something else?

Yes, I used API version 2.4 and the correct maps went from 80% to 90%.

Then I checked the zip codes (postcode in dutch) and corrected these, and now 100% shows.

So also, check your adressss!

Forgot the comment out:
$VDloc1=17.618550;
$VDloc2=59.855620;
$gmap-&gt;setCenterCoords($VDloc1,$VDloc2);

Good note to whomever tries to do this in the future... Commenting out those lines might help

hi there,
i have done what you say in this topic but the page dont work i cant open a page of a object because it is just white nothing shows up cause of the maps. Can some one publish the edited files here?
