Nothing is imposible , with some PHP skills you can change the Open Source and to have a frontend administration of joomfish . Search for some PHP specialist who can do that, with some cash ofcourse

Do not listen to him, no offense..

The front-end translating functionality is built in by JFish and happens implicitly, according to the current language you have selected when you submit a new object, or when you edit an already existing one. For example:

Lets say that you have a bilingual website, English and Greek , DEFAULT language being the Greek one.

Case 1: You go to add a ME object and you have selected Greek language on the front-end. Then what happens is that JFish creates NOTHING. There is only one object version being stored in the DEFAULT language, which WE say to Joomla to treat as being Greek in this case. Notice here that if you go and change your default language to English then the same ME object entry will be treated as being English, although it might have greek chars in the text. So, it is important to have in mind that when you enter something in the default site language, no translated entry is created by JFish.

Case 2: You go to add a ME object and you have selected English language on the front-end. Then what happens is that Joomla will create a DEFAULT entry as above (which YOU say to Joomla it is Greek), and JFish will create additionally, a translation on this object in English language. Then you can open the same object for editing, this time having selected the Greek language, and translate everything to Greek. BUT bare in mind that the changes will not be ahndled by JFish in a Greek translation of the ME object, but you will be *yourself* translating the DEFAULT entry created by Joomla.

What I mean is that if at some point you change the default language of the website to be English instead of Greek, then all DEFAULT ME objects (that where previously considered as being Greek) that exist will be treated as English. Of course, they will be "covered" by the explicit, JFish English translations that already exist and they won't show up. And of course, you will have no Greek translation whatsoever on your ME objects.

I hope i gave you some hints. Feel free to ask anything you might need.
