SWF file embedding? 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago

I have tried this in description and miscelleanous fields in the object parameters by using the "insert / edit embedded media" function in the WYSIWIG editor that appears when creating the object fields.
I have also tried adding the code manually in html format using the object tags.
I have also uploaded the file to the gallery, but it does not allow me to link it tothe object never shows on the object but strangely, it does show under the "Edit and Order" tab in the Gallery Manager. It shows as "File 1 - swf file"
I am at a loss as how to sort this out.
Many thanks for reading and possibly suggestion a way forward for me?

Hi,
which WYSIWYG editor do you use?
Did you try to use the extended ME template and thickbox as gallery?
If you did, then the SWF file should be shown when a user clicks on the gallery at the frontend.
