Since a lot of time passed and i had no succes at all in solving the problem, I'll try with creating a new thread on this one, maybe will be better luck now:

When translated some ME object title in russian or swedish or similar special- coding languages, i got ampersands in page title when viewing that object

the rest of translated is OK: object descriptions, field names (price, aircondition, parking or whatever) are also OK ... so it appears that the most important part of translation is scrabbled

sure don't have to mention how the page titles with object title inside, are important from search engine point of view

and i'm very surprised that no one else reported the same problem ?

please, I NEED HELP on that one BADLY !

Elaborating a bit more:

when I translate a name of some content (News for example) to russian, - i got ampersands in page title

but when go to Contact (standard Joomla contact component) the page title is displayed correctly in russian ???

so, this is rather confusing ?!? ... because if this is just a html/ampersands conflict, why this one is displayed OK ?

if not an solution, any hint will help too, because right now i'm in dead-end street
