I figured this problem out. I didn't see a fix on this site so I will post what I did.

The Estate Agent listings are linked to the Joomla Core Contact system. So go into contact, manage contacts, open up one of your contacts put your email address in there, then in the drop down where it says Link to user, drop down and find your name.

Then make sure in the listing you have it linked to you or whom ever.

Okay this worked for the contact form, you just made my day with this one!

Now to only get the mail to friend option to work on my particular site.....

Hi and thanx for the email contact solution !
For me too the "send to a friend" doesn't work as it says you have to be loged in to use this function but I would like that any one can use it with no login before.
Is there a solution ?

Thanks ghostrider632. If contact is linked to user, the contact email works.

Hi,
I am having the same problem with sending a mail from EA.
It all works fine from the joomla com_contacts but I get a server security error from Estate Agent.
I tried your fix but did not work...could you be a bit more specific???
Would really apreciate.
