I am building 2 sites in MisterEstate - but both of them have asked for the same thing, and they aint paying until they have it.

They want the site to open to a gallery of thumbnails showing 1 picture per property, with the picture linked to the property.

I cannot see any way of doing this, and until I get paid, I cannot afford to pay for someone to develop it.

Has anyone seen a hack for misterestate that does this?

Hi there!

Do i get you right? You want a gallery on the homepage of the site?

If this is the case then Joomla! will show any content on the startsite wich is at the 1st position of the main-menu.

This could be a MisterEstate category (link) too !! This catergory is showing you the thumbs and some text leading to the opject when clicking it.

Another method without codeing could be the mosmodule_bot (search for it at Joomla.org) allowing you to run a module in the content.

You you could e.g. run the mod_latest of MisterEstate in a static content file and link this file to the homepage and there you go....if you set the mod_latest to show all objects you will find all objects thumbs without text on this site.

Anything else has to be scripted....

Hmm, I have made no progress with this. can someone explain to me in simple english what to do?

I have seen an example of what I am trying to achieve on the site Juan Pablo in the live sites section. They display a gallery of about 10 properties, my client wants to display all his properties.
