Frontend ad new property not working 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 1
If I add a property via back-end it works and I can upload after that a new property via the front-end as well.

If a user has not yet uploaded any property it does however not work. When this user wants to upload a property he gets redirected to the Joomla search component, although the url is index.php?option=com_estateagent&act=eaadmin&task=new

Is this known? What can I do?

Thanks.

Same problem. A new user can not add his first property.
If a user allready has a property(added trough backend) then he can add more using the front end.

Error message when adding the first property in front end:

Line 356
char 2
Error Object doesn't support this property or method.

Although these posts were pretty old, I decided to post my problem here, because it's the same one. When I try to edit a new object, I get redirected to a search page.
I'm talking about frontend editor.
MySQL ver. 4.1.11
PHP ver. 4.3.10-22
Apache/1.3.33 cgi/fcgi
Joomla! 1.0.13 Stable
Joomla! Register Globals Emulation: OFF
Register Globals: ON
Magic Quotes: ON
Safe Mode: OFF
All other relevant Joomla/PHP information seem to be alright.
Any solution ? Ideas ? Guess ? Hints ?

I know the only solution for this - to create or change from an Administration panel Object owner. The goal of this not to let the desired user to have empty Object list. Another words, the User has to have his own Objects. This can be fixed through the Admin panel.

Good luck

PS it is not a solution indeed.
