I receive the following message after click on the E-Mail button (E-Mail to friend)

You are not authorised to view this resource.
You need to login.

I have search and read this and the joomla forums but fail to find an answer on how to fix this problem, I just found messages that describe the situation but without solutions.

Some people claims that this option works just fine, others that works in some properties and others not, and others (like me) claim that the message appear on all properties, or they said that this was working just fine but for some reason stop working.

I had setup this great component in two different sites, we do not use frontend login for users because there is no need for that, we want that regular (not logged) users use this valuable option to email to a fiend the propertie of their interest.

I really appreciatte some input and help on how to fix this issue.

Also, I want to say thank you to the developers of this component, not many people release such component under the "GNU General Public License (GPL)".

Is this happening when using the joomla default template, too? If not, there is something wrong with your template.

First, thank you so much for your interest and time.

Well, I read your first message:

I had PHP Mail Function defined as mail option on the global configuration. With some success I change to sendmail and SMTP Server and now a few properties shows the email to friend form but others not, I return to PHP Mail Function option and works just fine in some properties (sendmail was not sending the message and have the correct path).

I upload the default joomla template and tested with the same results, few properties shows the correct form and the others not.

did you ever manage to fix this?? I got the same problem... about 20% of the properties it works and 80% doesnt.
