Users from group "author" when trying to open a link in usermenu on frontend

in adminpanel ME users from group "Author" allowed to add objects from the frontpage

Solved the problem, I installed version "1.6.0 stable" over "1.6.0 RC2" - sorry, it was a my bad idea.
I removed ME completely, removed the table in the database, install all - works!
