CSV import and export is part of my roadmap, but it will last 2-3 months until it will be available, because I must refactor the components structure before.

But you can use phpMyAdmin for csv-import/export for example. If your host doesn´t provide it, you can use the Joomla component:

the today published ME 1.5.2 is very close to native, so I think, the next release (ME 1.5.3) will be the first 100% native version.

Hi,

there are 2 main reasons:

1. in Joomla 1.6 legacy mode has been removed. Thus components, modules etc. will not run in 1.6 and future Joomla versions if they aren´t 100% native.
2. the new J1.5 framework provides a clearer structure and much more features than the old framework. But a component can only use the new features if it is native.
