i can't seem to get any images to show up in the "Link images to objects".

I am using 1.6.1 and have tried uploading new images through the gallery upload as well as FTPing images into the picture directory on my server. Nothing shows up in that section, although the images I upload do get attached to the object I'm editing.

Isn't the purpose of that section to link other images from the 'picture' directory to the current object you're working with? perhaps I just dont understand that that is used for.

so this is a bug and there's no fix? the link you gave describes similar problem but I dont see a solution there.
