Hi,
I would like to know, which other content management systems you know and use?
Which did you use for a project already?
Which can you recommend and why or which would you not recommend to others and why?
Thanks in advance!
best regards,
Darko

I was a little surprised by the fact that you develop a component for joomla, but your site is working for TYPOlight!
Why such a choice?

Why such a choice?

Hi Pavel,
there are a lot of reasons why I decided to choose TYPOlight as platform for the MisterEstate project website:
TYPOlight has
- a powerful and flexible user- and permission management system
- an included form generator
- versioning and undo management
- a live update service (you can upate the system with only one click)
- an install tool for 3rd party extensions (you can install a 3rd party extension with just one click)
- the release cycles are very short - updates and bugfixes are available normally every 6-8 weeks
- the community is small, but very professional and friendly
- TYPOlight is available under LGPL, which is much more 3rd party developer friendly than GPL. There are no restrictions regarding the licenses of 3rd party extensions.
- TL has been developed with PHP5 - so it has no old code ballast and there´s no need for compromises.
- the sourcecode is clearer and more effective than Joomla´s source
Full list of features: http://www.typolight.org/features.html
In short: TYPOlight combines the benefits of TYPO3 and Joomla.
If you´re interested, you can check the online demo of TYPOlight: http://www.typolight.org/demo.html
Since I´ve used TYPOlight for a few projects, TL is the first choice for me.
best regards,
Darko
